The Stock Movement Report will only include the sales documents
(Invoices and Credit Notes) and the purchase
documents (Purchase or Goods Received Notes and
Stock or Goods Returned documents entered in the Input - Documents menu option and
which posted or updated to the ledger. If
you are using the Point-of Sales facility, only the Point-of Sales Invoices for Shifts, which have been
closed, will be included in this report. Any
Stock Adjustments processed in the Input - Adjust Stock menu option will
also be displayed.
This report is generated on the Stock Movement Options screen on which the following options criteria for the details to be included in this report is selected:

Sequence - To list the details for the selected stock items
included in this report according to the Stock Item Code, Description or Stock
Groups 1 or 2 if you have created Stock Groups.

Stock Code - select a specific stock item code or a range of
codes on the Stock Item search or lookup facility.
- Dates - enter or select the date or dates (using the Date picker) for the detail you wish to include in this report.
The details in this report is displayed in the following 8 columns:

Stock Code - This is the selected Stock Item Code or Codes
and the Stock item description will be displayed as headings.

Date - The date is the date when the Document (Invoices,
Credit notes, Purchases and Stock or Goods Returned documents) is generated
and updated to the ledger. Any documents of which the dates are within the
selected range, which are not yet posted or updated to the ledger will not be
included in this report.

Type - This is the document type (Invoices, Credit Notes,
Purchases and Stock or Goods Returned documents). If any stock quantities have
been adjusted in the Input - Adjust Stock menu option,
Adjustments will be displayed.

Salesperson - This is the Salesperson, which was selected
when Invoices and Credit Notes were generated. No details will be displayed
for Purchases and Stock or Goods Returned Documents.

Reference - This is the document number for Invoices, Credit
Notes, Purchases and Stock or Goods Returned documents as generated by
TurboCASH. If any stock quantities have been adjusted in the Input - Adjust Stock menu option, an
asterisk (*) will be displayed.

Quantity - Purchases and Credit Notes as well as any
adjustments, which increases the Stock quantities (stock in), will be
displayed as a positive quantity. Invoices and Goods Returned documents as
well as any adjustments, which decreases the Stock quantities (stock out) will
be indicated as a negative figure.

Cost Price - The total cost price (average or latest cost
(cost of sales)) for all the selected stock items on the Invoice,
Point-of-Sale Invoice or Credit Note. If it is a Purchase document or Goods
Returned document, the Cost Price will be reflected as entered on the
documents.
- Selling Price - This is the total amount of the selected selling prices (selling price 1 /2 / 3) for all the selected stock items on the Invoice, Point-of-Sale Invoice or Credit Note. If it is a Purchase document or Goods Returned document, the Cost price will be reflected.
