If you have many creditor accounts with outstanding balances,
and if you wish to take-on opening balances for each accounting period, to
utilise the ageing facility in TurboCASH, you need to create a Sundry Creditors
Account. When you enter the opening balances for the General Ledger Account, you
will allocate the balance of your Creditors Control Account to this Sundry
Creditors Account in the Creditors Ledger. TurboCASH will, once the General
Ledger opening balance batch is posted to the General Ledger, update the
Creditors Control Account in the General Ledger.
To create a Sundry Creditors Account to Take-on Opening Balances:
Click on the Edit - Accounts - Creditor menu
option or press the
and

keys on your keyboard. The Creditor Accounts and the Creditors search facility screens will be
displayed.
Press the
key on your keyboard to
exit the Creditors search facility screen and enter the Account Number (e.g.
1COPEN). TurboCASH will display the following confirmation screen.

Click on the
button and enter the name for
your Sundry Creditor Account - (e.g. Creditor Opening Balances) and leave the
rest of the fields on this screen (including the Statements and the Accounting
Information tabs) blank.
Click on the
button and press the
key on your keyboard twice to close or exit the Creditors search
facility and the Creditor Accounts screen.
To create a Sundry Creditors Account to Take-on Opening Balances:
