TurboCASH reports the transactions in the General Ledger Accounts, Debtor Ledger Accounts and Creditor Ledger Accounts in the 3-column Account format. This is the format in which all computerised systems report on transactions.

The T-Account viewer allows you to view the transactions for a selected account for a specific date or a range of dates in the traditional T-Account format. This T-Account format is found in most of the manual systems and in most accounting books and course material used in Schools, Colleges, Technikons, Universities, etc. The debit transactions are displayed on the left-hand side and the credit transactions are displayed on the right-hand side.

To View Accounts with the T-Account Viewer:
Click on the Tools - T-Account Viewer menu option or press the and and keys on your keyboard. The T-Account Viewer screen will be displayed.


Click on the button to select a General Ledger, Debtor or Creditor Account on the Accounts search or lookup facility for which you wish to view the transactions.
Enter a valid date in the From Date and To Date fields or click on the down arrow to select a date using the Date picker.
Select the next account and date or click on the or buttons to exit or close this screen.
