This option allows you to change the quantity of stock on hand.
The total cost price will remain unchanged, but the average cost price will be
changed due to the change in quantity.
You may use this option when you have done a physical count of your stock items (stock-taking) and find that the quantities of certain stock items differ from those in TurboCASH. It may be because certain stock items are lost or stolen. You need to enter the correct values of your Stock at hand and have to enter them in TurboCASH.
To Adjust your Quantity and Average Cost:
Click on the Input - Adjust Stock menu option or press the

keys on your keyboard. Alternatively you may press the

keys on your keyboard.
The Stock Item screen on the Adjustments tab will be displayed, listing all the
Adjustment options.
Select Qty & Ave Cost and the Quantities
(Reorder and On Hand) as well as the Cost Price (Average Cost and unit Cost)
fields will be displayed.
Select and enter the following:
Once you are finished, click on the

to save the changes.
Click on the

button to exit or close this screen. You may also press

| Stock Code and Stock Description | The Stock Code and Stock Description will be displayed to select from. Select the stock code or stock description of the item you wish to adjust. |
| Quantity on Hand | Enter the new quantity for the selected stock item. |
| Cost Average and Unit Cost. | All your current average and unit cost prices will be displayed. The total cost price will remain unchanged, but the average cost price will be changed due to the change in quantity. |
