The style or format of the dates as set in your Windows™
operating system will be displayed in TurboCASH. You need to select the date
when you enter data (transactions etc,), generate reports, etc. The date will be
reflected in the your system date format on all reports, statements, remittance
advises, etc. It is recommended that you check that the date format is displayed
for your specific requirements and that it is in an understandable format for
the majority of your debtors (customers), creditors (suppliers) and other users
of your financial information. If you are used to enter data in a specific date
and you wish to display the date in another format than it is currently
displayed, you may change the system date.
To Change the Date Format:
Click on the Setup - System Parameters - Company Info menu option or press
the 
key on your keyboard. The Company Info screen will be displayed.
Click on the

The short date style may be displayed in any of the following formats:
Check that the date format or style is displayed for your
requirements. If not, you may change this date style or format in the short date
field. Should you wish to set the date to be displayed as 01/03/2005 in a
4-digit year style or format, enter DD/MM/YYYY in the Short date field.
Click on the 
button to apply the selected date style or
format, if you have changed the Short date style field.
Click on the 
button or click on the Currency tab if you
need to check and set the Currency symbol.
