This option is used to open a Set of Books. The Set of Books
must already exist in any available directory on your computer system or
network. The list of Books that appear in the List box is a composite list of
valid TurboCASH sets of Books. Each Set of Books must be kept in a separate
directory. The composite list consists first of all valid Sets of Books under
the TCASH3 directory (or the directory where TurboCASH is installed) and
secondly additional sets of books that have been added to the list. (These would
be sets of books that would be in other directories, for example on another part
of the hard disk or somewhere on a mapped drive on the network).
To Open a Set of Books:
Click on File - Open a Set of Books menu option or click on the
speed button or icon. You may also press the
and
keys on your keyboard. The following screen will be
displayed:

List. If you click on the Browse button, you may select it on any other
Directory. The Pick a Directory Screen will be displayed. You must pick a valid
TurboCASH Set of Books. If the directory does not contain a valid set of Books,
it will not be added to the list. The Browse button is equivalent to an "Add"
button.
The Purge List button will remove the Highlighted item. This
function does not delete the files from the directory. To Delete the Files from
a directory you must use the File - Delete Set of Books Menu. You cannot Purge a
Set of Books that is in the TCASH Directory. To remove a set of Books that is in
the TCASH Directory, you will need to use the File - Delete Set of Books menu
option. If you wish to remove this Set of Books from the list, but keep the
files, you will have to move the whole Directory out of the TCASH3 directory
using Windows Explorer.
