IMPORT DEBTOR / CREDITOR ACCOUNTS
  
This option will allow you to import data for Debtors or Creditors from a valid file format into an existing Set of Books. To be able to import the data for Debtors, you need to have created a valid XML Database File format or a valid Lotus SpreadSheet file format on your system for your Debtors in the Tools - Export menu option. To be able to import the data for Creditors, you need to have created a valid XML Database File format or a valid Lotus SpreadSheet file format on your system for your Creditors in the Tools - Export menu option.

To Import Data:
Click on the Tools - Import menu option or press the and and keys on your keyboard. The Import Data Wizard will be displayed.

Title bar. Close - click to close or exit this screen. Click to go to the next step on which you need to select the file to import. Select TurboCASH Excahange File (TXF), XML Database or Lotus 123 (WK1) file type. Select Debtor/Creditor Accounts as the type of data to import. Click to go to the previous screen if this button is activated on the next step. Click to import the data, once a valid file is selected. Click to close or exit this screen.
Select Debtors/Creditors as the Data Type to Import, if not already displayed.
Select one of the following file types in which the data to import is saved on your system:
  • TurboCASH Exchange File (*.TXF)

  • XML Database File (*.XML)

  • Lotus Spreadsheet File (*.WK1)
    • Click on the button to locate the data file. The following screen will be displayed:

    Title bar. Close - click to close or exit this screen. Click on the icon to locate, select and open the data file to import. Click to go to the previous screen. Click to go to the next step or screen. Click to import the data from the selected file. Click to close or exit this screen. The location of the selected data file.
    Click on the button to locate, select and Open the data file.
    Click on the button. The following screen will be displayed:

    Title bar. Close - click to close or exit this screen. Click to go to the previous screen. Next button - inactive. Click to import the data from the selected file. Click to close or exit this screen.
    Click on the button to import the data from the selected data file.
