MAINTAIN BATCH (JOURNAL) TYPES
EDIT OR RENAME BATCH TYPES OR JOURNALS
  
This option is used to edit or rename a batch type. You may need to rename an exiting Batch Type or journal.

To Edit a Batch Type:
Click on the Setup – System Parameters – Batch Types menu option or press the and and and keys on your keyboard. The Batch Type screen will be displayed.

Title bar. Exit or Close the screen. Type in a name for a new batch type and click on the Add button. Add button - Click to add or create a new batch type. Edit button - Select a batch type and click on to rename the selected batch type. Delete button - Select a batch and click to remove the selected batch type. A list of all the available batch types. Scroll bar Close button - Click to close or exit this screen.
Select an existing Batch Type from the list.
Click on the button. The following Confirmation screen will be displayed:


Click on the button, the following screen will be displayed:

Title bar. Exit or Close the screen. Enter a new name for the selected batch type. Click to apply the new name for the batch and to close or exit this screen. Click to close or exit this screen without any changes.
Enter the new name for the Batch Type.
Click on the button. The following confirmation screen will be displayed:


Click on the button to rename the Batch Type. If you click on the button, the process will be terminated.
Click on the button or press the key on your keyboard to exit the Batch Type screen.
