This feature allows you to download your bank statement from your bank via the Internet. To use this feature, your system should be configured and setup to have Internet access and you should already be registered with your bank or financial institution for online banking.

To Download a Bank Statement:
Connect your system to the Internet.
Open a Set of Books in which your bank account is created for which you wish to download the bank statement.
Click on the Tools - Plug-ins - Bank Online menu option or press the and and and keys on your keyboard. The Online Banking utility will be launched.
Click on the File tab and select the Download Statement option. The Login Info screen will be displayed.


Select the name of the bank, if the correct bank name is not already displayed.
Account number - if you are registered for more than 1 account on online banking at your bank or financial institution, you need to enter the account number for which you wish to download the bank statement. If you have only one account, you may leave this field blank.
Enter the user name and password as registered for online banking at you bank or financial institution. If the user name and password is not correct, you will not be able to download your bank statement. (The password may be the PIN (personal identification number) as issued by the bank or financial institution.
Click on the button. The connecting to …… (web address) of your bank or financial institution screen will be displayed.


Once the bank statement has been downloaded, all the transactions will be displayed.

If the correct dates are not displayed for the bank statement transactions, you need to select the correct dates when you save the bank statement transactions as a file. It is important to select the correct dates to include transactions (the dates must correspond with those dates for which you need to do the bank reconciliation).
