TurboCASH allows you to Delete as Set of Books from your
system. You must be absolutely sure if you delete a Set of Books, as the data
will be permanently lost. Before you delete a Set of Books from your system,
please make sure that all the necessary reports are printed and retained
together with the necessary supporting documents, such as slips, cheques,
invoices, etc. to substantiate your profit from the business, which you have
submitted on your Tax returns.
You must remember, even if you are a small business, you need to keep the necessary records for 5 years commencing from the date of the date of receipt of the last applicable Tax return for audit and record purposes.
Once you are absolutely sure, you may delete a Set of Books.
To Delete a Set of Books:
Click on the File - Delete Set of Books menu
option or press the
and
and
keys on your keyboard.
The following screen reflecting the list of all Set of Books will be displayed:
Select the Set of Books, and click on the
button. The following Confirmation screen will be displayed:

If you are sure, click on the
button.
Another Confirmation screen will be displayed.

On this screen you have the option to cancel
the deletion process. If you click on the
button, the process will be
terminated. If you click on the
button, the Set of Books will be permanently
deleted.
Wait for the deletion process to finish. The following Information screen will be displayed:

Click on the
button.
Once the Set of Books is deleted, the contents of the folder with the name of the Set of Books will be emptied and the
the files for the Set of Books will be transferred to the Recycle Bin of your Operating System. You may need to: -

If you do not enter a valid password or press the
button on your keyboard, the Set of Books will not be permanently deleted from the
system. The following error message will be displayed:

(If this action is not done, you will not be able to create or save a Set of Books with exactly the same name as the Set of Books which is deleted).
