CALCULATOR
  
This option allows you to use the calculator to perform certain calculations for you and to transfer results into the amount fields the TurboCASH program.

To use the Calculator:
Click on Tools - Calculator menu option or press the menu option or press the key on your keyboard from any input field to access the calculator. You may also press the and and keys on your keyboard.

Title bar. Close button - click to close or exit the calculator. Display - the entered numbers, operators or the results of the calculations. Each click will remove the last digit from the display. Keyboard equivalent= Backspace key. Clear all numbers and operators in the display. Transfer the result to TurboCASH. Inserts the numbers 1 to 9 in the display. Keyboard equivalent=0 to 9 Inserts the number 0 in the display. Keyboard equivalent= 0. Inserts the divide sign (/) in the display. Keyboard equivalent= /. Inserts the multiplication sign (*) in the display. Keyboard equivalent= *. Inserts the subtract sign (-) in the display. Keyboard equivalent= -. Inserts the add sign (+) in the display. Keyboard equivalent= +. Calculates the square root of the displayed number. Keyboard equivalent= R Displays the result of multiplication as a percentage. Calculates the Inverse or Reciprocal of the numbers in the display. Keyboard equivalent= X. Calculates the results of the numbers and operators in the display. Keyboard equivalent= Enter key. Inserts the decimal in the calculator display. Enter the minus sign before entering a digit. It will insert the minus sign in the displayed number. Clears the numbers or results entered into the memory. Recall the numbers or result stored in the memory. Clears the last total in the memory. Add the displayed number or result to the memory or to any other number or result already in the memory. Starts a new level of parentheses. Keyboard equivalent= ( Closes a parentheses. Keyboard equivalent= ) Sum - Keyboard equivalent= S Average - Keyboard equivalent= A The number or result entered in the memory will be displayed. The number or result entered in the memory of the M+ key will be displayed.
You may do your calculations. Once a calculation has been completed, the result may be transferred to the input field by simply pressing again or by clicking on the Transfer button.
To close the Calculator, press the key on your keyboard or click on the Close button.

Normal addition, subtraction, multiplication and division can be done respectively, using the + - * / keys. Sum, averages, square roots percentage calculations can also be performed.

You may enter the figures and operator keys by clicking on them with the mouse on the screen or pressing the relevant keys on your the keyboard.

Some keyboard equivalents, which allows you to perform some functions on your keyboard.

Key on Screen Shortcut Key Function
1/X Calculates the reciprocal of a displayed number.
Average Calculates the average of the entries on the display.
Backspace Clears a digit on the display.
CA Clear all reset the display to 0 to perform another calculation.
sqrt Calculates the square root of the entries on the display.
Sum

Calculates the sum of the entries on the display.
