BACKUP / RESTORE
TurboCASH BACKUP FILE
  
TurboCASH Backup creates by default a tcBackup.exe file, which is an executable file, if the field on the Backup Set of Books screen is selected. (If this field is not selected, the backup file will be created in the .zip file format.) The tcBackup.exe file will be displayed as an icon in the selected folder to which a file is backed up. You may also restore a Set of Books on the File - Backup / Restore menu option.

To Restore a Set of Books:
Click on the tcBackup.exe (or other file name) icon in the selected folder on your system. The TurboCASH T3 Self Extracting Backup screen will be displayed.

Title bar. Minimise button - click to minimise this screen. Restore button - inactive. Close button - click to close or exit this screen. The directory (drive and folders) in which the Set of Books will be restored in. If not correct, click on the Browse button to select a different location and to create a new subdirectory, if necessary. Click to select a different location and to create a new subdirectory, if necessary. A list of all the files for the Set of Books included in this Backup file. Scroll bar - move down or up to view more files. Click to extract the files from this backup file and restore it into the selected directory or subdirectory. Click to cancel or exit this screen. Progress indicator will indicate the progress of the restore process.

Title bar. Click to get Windows Help for this screen. Close button - Click to close or exit this screen. A list of the available drives andfolders in the selected directory on your system. Scroll bar - drag to view more folders or directories. Click to create a new subdirectory in the selected location or folder, if necessary. Click to set the selected directory or folder in which you wish to restore the Set of Books in. Click to cancel or close this screen without selecting the directory or folder.

You may also create a new folder (sub-directory) in which you wish to restore a Set of Books.

Title bar. Close button - click to close or exit this screen. The current directory (drive and folders) on your system will be displayed. Enter a name for the new subdirectory to be created in the selected directory. Click to create the new subdirectory. Click to cancel or exit this screen without creating a new subdirectory.
Enter a new directory than the current directory displayed on this screen and click on the button.
Click on the button on the TurboCASH T3 Self Extracting Backup screen. TurboCASH will extract all the files into the selected directory. When the process is finished, the following screen will be displayed:

Click on the button. The TurboCASH T3 Self Extracting Backup screen will be closed.
You need to Open the Set of Books.
